What The Swaps Are All About
Clothes swaps are a great way to explore your style, help others and save clothes going to landfill.
We've been putting these events on since July 2022 and it's been heartwarming to see so many people exploring their style, their gender, or just revamping their wardrobe for something fresh.
If you don't have clothes to swap but you want to take clothes, that's fine! We'll always take bags for life and coat hangers as donations. We'll be taking donations to Trans Support Hub CIC which helps us keep these events free for those who can't afford an entry fee.
There will be a changing room (the disabled toilet) and mirror if you want to try things on. If you want to bring your friends/allies, the more the merrier. Speaking of which, you don't have to be LGBTQ+ to come along, but everyone needs to be respectful that this is a safe space.
Where possible, we try to get more specialist trans related items like binders and chest enhancers.
We'll be taking pictures to promote the work we do and future events, please let us know on arrival if you don't want us to take your picture.

How Can You Help?
We’re always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make our clothes swap events a success! Volunteers can assist in various ways, such as sorting and organising clothes, offering hairdressing or makeup services, or even providing bra fittings. We also welcome help with setting up and packing down the event, greeting attendees, or offering style advice. If you have a skill you think could benefit the community, even if it is not listed here, we'd love to hear from you!
